We would like to inform you that Hydro-Québec is planning major projects in your area.

We plan to build a new 120/25-kV transformer substation, to be called Coulonge substation, and a 120-kV supply line in the Pontiac MRC. The new transmission line will connect the future Coulonge substation and the existing Cadieux substation. Related work to rebuild Cadieux substation, in the municipality of Bryson, is also under study.

These large-scale projects are part of a broad plan to upgrade the transmission system, increasing its robustness and ensuring reliable service to customers in the western sector of the Pontiac MRC.

We would like to present residents with these projects and a map of the study area (see overleaf) within which Hydro-Québec will select the location of the new Coulonge substation and supply line. Your participation and feedback will help us enhance our knowledge of the environment and develop projects with the least impact.
