Household Waste
Services offered: Weekly curbside garbage collection.
Schedule:
- Every Monday – West of Rivière Coulonge
- Every Tuesday – East of Rivière Coulonge
Limits: Maximum of three bags per household.
Requirements: All garbage must be placed in a garbage can to deter animals.
Bulky materials will be picked up during the summer only. Instructions will follow by Public Notice.
Recycling
Services offered: Recycling available.
Schedule:
- Every other Wednesday – alternating between East and West sectors
Restrictions: There is no limit to the number of recyclable items.
Requirements: Cardboard must be bundled separately, and other recyclables must be placed in clear plastic bags.
Transfer Station
The municipality of Mansfield-et-Pontefract makes a transfer site available to residents and property owners located in its municipality, as well as to residents and property owners in the municipality of Fort-Coulonge.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday: closed
Transfer Station Fees
- Garbage bag (each) – $4.00
- Car and small trailer – $15.00
- 1/2 ton truck – $25.00
- Armchairs – $5.00
- Living room furniture, mattresses, desks and windows – $3.00
- 1/2 ton truck with side – $35.00
