The municipality of Mansfield-Pontefract has set up a service to activate sequences of calls, texts and e-mails to its citizens. Alerts can be sent in French or English, depending on your preference. This service is used in emergency situations such as boil water notices, water main breaks, important messages such as work to be done, changes to garbage and recycling collection schedules, as well as for evacuation notices during disasters such as floods.
The aim of this system is to enable all citizens to be reached in a very short time.
